“YAK GREEN” collaborates with partners to advance systematic policies and missions for climate restoration and environmental sustainability

Tojo News reported that On March 27, 2025, Thailand proudly hosted the Climate Action Forum @ United Nations, Thailand, held at the United Nations building in Bangkok. This prestigious event aimed to unite multi-sector partnerships from government, private sector, and civil society to advance systematic policies and missions for climate restoration and environmental sustainability.

The forum was endorsed and supported by the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA – UN FAO), in collaboration with Sustainism, a network committed to sustainable development under the principles of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

“We choose the world we want to live in by acting on what we want to see and driving it to become a reality.”

This guiding vision of YAK GREEN was expressed by Mr. Olarn Weranond, CEO and Co-founder of YAK GREEN Co., Ltd., who received the Climate Action Leaders Recognition Certificate alongside 50 other organizations from various sectors recognized as “Sustainability Partners” of Sustainism (stnsm.org) for their tangible leadership and commitment to sustainability.

YAK GREEN has emerged as a leader in Agripreneurship, pioneering innovative agriculture to expand the export market of Thai plants to the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and beyond. Their mission focuses on desert restoration and revitalizing degraded lands through innovation and expertise in landscape architecture, successfully bringing Thailand’s green treasures to the global stage with pride. “We should not have to choose between today’s profit and a livable world tomorrow.”

His statement highlights the core principle of the forum: sustainability is not a task for one individual but a shared mission that requires the collective effort of partners who understand, act, and move forward together.

The event also featured the Climate Action Leader Awards, recognizing leading private sector organizations demonstrating commitment and tangible outcomes in driving sustainability for climate and environmental restoration.
