YAK GREEN Co., Ltd. is a group of innovative agricultural businesses, tree farms, and landscape design companies from Thailand venturing into the Saudi Arabian market and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries earnestly, since the restoration of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia for 32 years. They are one of the Thai businesses that have participated as guests of the Saudi government in The 1st Saudi – Thai Business Forum and Networking (Riyadh and Jeddah) together with the Federation of Thai Industries. along with Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Commerce between 28 August – 3 September 2022

YAK GREEN, along with the Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, collaborated with the Thai team in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to plant 300 Ratchaphruek trees, the national tree of Thailand, in three public parks in Abu Dhabi, namely Capital Park, Khalidiya Park, and Old Airport Park, on December 3rd, 2022. This marked the first time in history that Thailand’s symbolic trees were planted in Abu Dhabi as part of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of Thai-UAE diplomatic relations and Thai National Day.

YAK GREEN aims to connect all sectors in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East to foster the growth of innovative agricultural businesses, trees, and Thai architecture together.

Throughout 2022-2023, YAK GREEN has explored the market, connected partners, and engaged in trade activities in Saudi Arabia and the GCC more than ten times. They participated in significant events such as joining forces with Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, and leading Thai private sector representatives between June 6th and 10th, 2022. Additionally, they participated in Saudi Agriculture 2023 (October 23rd to 26th, 2023) and were the main sponsors of the Thailand Mega Fair 2023 (December 13th to 16th, 2023), organized by Index Creative Village in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce, among many others. YAK GREEN had the opportunity to attend high-level vision forums, exchange views with various government and private sector executives in the GCC, study the market, and sign cooperation agreements at both organizational and municipal levels with Saudi Arabia. They also worked with various organizations in Thailand and internationally to create opportunities for Thai businesses and the ASEAN region together.

On February 13th, YAK GREEN is organizing a grand event, ‘Make Everyone Love Trees,‘ inviting former ministers, partners, businessmen, and community enterprises to come together to share knowledge with society and provide opportunities for interested business groups, community enterprises, and partners to receive firsthand information from policymakers, top executives, and experienced entrepreneurs in connecting Thai trade and investment internationally.

This event will be held from 12:00 to 18:30 at the Lancaster Bangkok Hotel, and marks the significant beginning of welcoming the new year 2024. It is aimed at creating opportunities and promoting international trade strategies driven by interesting private sector initiatives. The preliminary schedule details are as follows:

In the initial phase of the seminar, we have the honor of having Mr. Sontirat Sontijirawong, former Minister of Commerce and Minister of Energy, to deliver a special keynote speech on the topic ‘Unlocking Thailand’s Business Potential.’

“Mr. Korn Chatikavanij, former Minister of Finance and Global Finance Minister of the Year 2010, a leader who always delivers at a global level.”

In the subsequent phase, YAK GREEN had the honor of inviting Mr. Korn Chatikavanij, former Minister of Finance and recipient of the “Finance Minister of the Year, Global and Asia Pacific” award in 2010 from The Banker magazine of the United Kingdom, as the first Thai recipient of this prestigious accolade. His special keynote speech on the topic ‘Why Trees are Good Economics?’

“Bringing partners from Saudi Arabia to share real experiences, real voices.”

Following that, YAK GREEN invited Eng. Mohamed Sallem, Chief Strategy Officer of Arabian Peninsula Forests, one of the GCC’s business partners with close ties. He delivered a special keynote speech on ‘Shaping the Future Beyond Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.’ Additionally, Khun Kodthong Oh Boonpucknavig, Social and International Relations Manager of YAK GREEN, provided Thai translation for the audience, ensuring everyone’s full understanding.

Another intriguing segment was the panel discussion on ‘Thai Business Opportunities in the Middle East in the Borderless World.’ featuring highly qualified speakers, leading businessmen, and experienced policymakers in the Middle East. Six distinguished individuals shared their insights:
